hi. ive tried doing this following some guides over the net. all i can say is that i think im on the right track here coz i got at least 1 game to work which is metal slug 5. my problem is with larger games like wwe smackdown vs raw and fight night round 2, whenever i make the multigame dvd, it shows up in the menu, but when i try to launch it, it just hangs. the only thing i think i messed up is when i try to replace video, audio files with the same file but smallest in size among the group. can multigame dvds play shrunken games?
gg man!

Not all games work when u put 2 onto the 1 disk. Theres no point. just put them on seperate disks and save yourself the time.

I agree with jin666. Besides, even if you fit 6 PSX games on a DVD, -one- DVD will prob cost more than 6 CD-R's. Am i right?

It's not about the money xhardcore. It's about 1) convenience and 2) keep the laser lens to last as long as possible.
Most modded PS2 (especially the 30000 and 70000 series) carry modchips that tend to burn the laser circuitry. Reading CDs just makes it happen faster and worse.
But as far as i know, no one has come up with an idea yet. There are many programs to make multi-game dvd on the XBOX, but none so far for the PS2.
happy new year everyone...

Its not that hard to do it but you have to find games that are compatible, because many games use the same folder setup so when you put them together, the files and folders get muddled and it then makes it a very difficult process, but it is great when you get it to work :-)

wow, i feel like an idiot now, but i'm going to ask anyway. first off i'm using swap magic, not a modchip. anyway what i get out of the site's information is that i download these zipped files, unzip the certain ones, open cdgen and put my cnf and elf files in there along with the rom files and then burn them as an image to a disc. but my question is what rom files and where are they at, do i have to get them seperately and compile and rename them using goodsnes? i'm confused but i really want to compile a cd or dvd of my old favorites. please help me

sounds like you need stinkys boot cd.

Make sure you put everything on one disk because i dont think you can change disks if you are using swap magic but that doesnt really hurt anything because if you burn it onto dvd you get a hell of alot of roms and shit theres even a DivX player in there :-D

i checked out stinky's site, he sounds like he knows what he's doin. too bad i don't though, i figured i would just have to download a program and throw some roms in it and that the program would change the file type to a easy burnable format like DVD Decrypter does. that kinda sounds like what i'm getting out of eveyones sites but it just doesn't seem to be that simple. maybe i'm in over my head, but i think i just need to get all the information first. like from start to bottom i have no clue what to do, i don't even know where to get roms which i'm guessing are the games, right? i got on snes-station.gamebase.ca last night and downloaded the programs and extracted all the files and i got to the point where you either use Nero if you have a modchip and use cdgen and goodsnes if you use swap magic. well since i use a swap magic i tried using cdgen and goodsnes but i had no roms to rename with goodsnes and couldn't cdgen didn't recognize any files in my snes-station folder.

i'm pretty sure i got it, all i gotta do is find some good references to some download sites for roms so i can try it out. one more thing, i heard different emulators play different roms better so which type of roms are best for snes-station oh yea and can i burn the disc using Nero smartstart or Nero express 6 because my cpu came with Nero but i can't find any Nero burning rom on my hardrive anywhere.
