yeah i realized that when i was talkin to the guy on the phone about it. what to you think of the Westinghouse 32" Model: LTV-32W1. Im using the same thing just a 27" and i think its too small for the footage that im away from it because it will be my monitor and family TV but i wont be up colse to it so i was thinking the Westinghouse 32" or 37". the 52" RCA (its up for sale) i got but it wont display right

It sounds like your going for the lowest prices. I don't recammend Westinghouse, Maxent, Orion (Funi, Sylvania, Sansui), or RCA. Unless you just cant afford a Panasonic, Sharp, JVC, LG, or Toshiba. Not too many people can afford the Samsungs, they are my favorites.

Are you looking for an HDTV?

Trigga71:

Let me understand this... You have a $3,500.00 VERY HIGHEND MAC G5 that outputs 1920 x 1080 (1080p HDTV) that you are trying to use with the cheapest display that you can find? In addition, you plan to use it as a video display for DVD, etc. WHY?

At the very least, buy a display that has a native resolution of 720p or 768p (of course 1080p would be perferable) and use your G5 as a HTPC (Home Theater PC) to scale the output to 720p, 768p, or 1080p (whatever the native rate of the display is) using the DVI output, feed the digital audio output to your DD/DTS processor and you will be in heaven!

By the way. Are you doing video editing on your G5? Bob
