hi guys, i am not only new to this site but new to burning period!! i have nero6 an dvd decrypter and dont know how to use either, i have read tons of articles and am still in the dark about it all,
i am trying to burn a film, which is AUDIO MPEG-3, VIDEO-XVID
everytime i use nero startsmart to burn a file onto disc it says..

ERROR:
cause: 58 (disk_full)
source: _VOBS
description: There is not enough space on the disk.

ERROR:
cause: 128 (nmc_processing_exception)

description: Exception during encoding

however the file is only 701 MB (736,061,440 bytes), and the disc is a 4.7gb, i am using a built in dvd burner +R and i keep getting this problem regardless of what files i am using.. please help!!

Not sure exactly what you are trying to do here?

Are just trying to burn the file as is to a disk? If so just make sure you are burning as a file.

Also Make sure you have DVD selected here


Are you trying to convert the file into a DVD compliant file? If so you need to try using Nero Vision Express.

i have tried using nero vision 2 and i get the same problem, it in fact says USED SPACE 3.50 out of 4.70, again every time i try to burn the film onto disc it says burning error, disc full etc, basically i have downloaded a film, legally...., and am trying to put it onto disc using nero6 to no avail, i have tried doing what u sadi to do previously and it has reported the same error, i appreciate all the help and would be grateful of more

ok, first problem, on STEP 4, when i select video ts then browse over to the folder where my films are stored i come up with a windows media file and not video ts files so it doesnt letter me drag the file over

oh, ive downloaded that DivX to dvd from ure software page, im now converting the windows media file into whatever its going to convert it into, does this then mean that i can drag the files over then? thnx so far bro, its sorta becoming easier

@bbmayo - hehe, cheers. i'm just always online so i just make my journey useful. for instance i've been dialled into work for the last 4.5 hours with 3 different problems/jobs to do, and still have another 7hours to go before the biggest job is done. in the meantime i'll be passing on your DMA link nonstop as per usual :)
