Does anyone use a Cable Card for their Digital service?

Just wondering. I have a tv with a digital tuner and a HD tuner built in.I was thinking of getting a cable card from the cable company since the tv has a slot for it. BUT, the digital tuner only goes up to 135 channels. I know that a digital set top box from the cable company goes way past that. I wanted to not have to get the box but it still looks like I have to if I want all the channels.
