When you update your psp through network update, you will get v2.01 update, which disables that buffer overflow bug. So be careful when updating your psp if you want to use homebrew.

Oh well so long as the Message gets out!! Besides the only way One could update outside of Japan is though the Network Updater, and I myself am in no danger of that. As I only use 802.3 here in House and not 802.11a,b,g or n...

A bug in the 2.0 FirmWare version, you use to trigger the 1.5 downgrade, so that you can use homebrew on your PSP
