HOW TO SOFTMOD XBOX EXPLAINED AGAIN FOR LAZY PEOPLE

Ok, I have a few questions... I softmodded my xbox and I downloaded all the correct software to Halo mod, and I have sucessfully modded a few maps. I want to get on Live and play custom games using my mods with my friends, but whenever I try to they are unable to see or use any of the mods I created... I have played with other peoples mods via xbox live and they worked fine. Is there something that I am missing or that I need to do in order to play custom mod games over Live?

I don't even know how those other people could play with you on XL with modded maps, usually you'd get banned for doing that in the first place. There are a few programs that most likely suck compared to Xbox L but modding is legal on them. you could probably find them through some links on google, but the first place i noticed them has moved and is too lazy to set the site up again.

If you want to play with your friends, you'd probably have to send your maps to them in order to run together. I don't realy know because I don't abuse that kind of power over the line. (actually my internet only goes 45.2 kps :( )

yeah, I dont really understand it. I am easily able to get on Live and play custom games using my maps without getting banned (so long as I dont go into matchmaking), but nobody else can play with my maps. For example, one guy I was trying to play with was able to use my SMG that shot tank bullets, but he was unable to superjump, run fast, shoot any weapons that shot out images (such as my pistol that shoots master chiefs..). I used to play with other peoples mods on live all the time, with the same kinds of mods that I am trying to do... I dont understand why mine will not work.

alright, i am trying to download that splinter cell thing that tou have on as a link, and it takes me to some place where you search for other links....... i am a total newbie and i dont know how it works so can you give me the splinter cell linux thing

Hi guys,
I was hoping someone could help a girl out here. I have the linux profile (4 blocks) and the other Splinter Cell files (4xx) files and I load the linux profile in SC. Then an EvolutionX screen comes up (options like load DVD and other things). I don't know where to go from here to complete my softmod. Can someone please help me before I cry? When I click on Load DVD, it gives me a screen saying my xbox needs service. When I reboot all is ok, but I'm stuck on where to go next. Thank you so much to anyone who will help me.

No. Unfortunately. While waiting for your reply, I downloaded the SID fils and have them...I have my friend's modded xbox here too. Is there a way to send these new SID files:
-SID.Splinter.Cell.v2.0.NTSC.Xbox-Hq
-SID.Splinter.Cell.v2.0.Xbox-Hq
To my modded xbox (like, a DVD-R and then copy them to my memory card?)

do have a memory stick or an Action replay?
If your xbox is not modded it cannot read any-type of media
meaning no DVD'S

ok. here's what I have:
1 modded xbox
1 unmodded xbox
2 controllers
1 8MB memory card
The Splinter Cell game saves needed
I don't have any AR hardware, but I have the software. Basically, I need to get my SC saves from my computer to my memory card. Can I do this via my modded xbox somehow? If so, how? Hope this clarifies things.

Ok so your friend has the files right?
If so insert the 8MB memory card in his control and copy the linux files or sid installer into the Memory stick and the splinter cell files then after it's copied to the Memory stick copy it to your xbox

How do I copy the files from the computer to his modded box though? I'm sorry I'm so stupid. Maybe he was right and girls can't do this stuff good. I was to prove him wrong so bad

The links you posted for the downloads will just come up with a search website that doesn't have anything about a download. What is the website u get the downloads from.
