the r4ds ( which is the same as the m3 simply ) has had a new design and got rid of the spring for the micro sd memory slot it is now just a push in slot .
as they are the same flash cart im expecting the m3 simply to get a design change very shortly .

p.s. i have now had 2 r4ds delivered with the design and can confirm no more spring on the micro sd slot.

i have a question i was hoping someone on here could help we with. i just got m3 simply (works awesome), but i used to use the g6 lite with a passcard (hated it). but when i used that i got sick of needing the passcard so i did the whole flashme thing to make it auto boot from the g6 cartridge w/o the passcard. neway, since m3 simply cant play gba games i wanted to use my old g6 lite for my gba needs. problem is that when they are both in the ds it autoboots to the g6 lite instead of the m3. anyone know of a way to fix this. i realize this is a rough explanation, so if i need to clarify anything just say so.

Hello, I got a R4 and all my games work super! I just would like to know how to use Moonshell i have been looking and searching all over the net using Google and there is no User Manual for moonshell on R4 I have no idea what to do:
I get error (witch people say its normal)
Then i see files and thats it
Where do i put the music? what folder? and mp3?
Where do i put the movies? (after i converted them)
What can you do with moonshell beside MP3 and movies and how do you do it? what folders do you use?
where to drag and drop and what to drag and drop......
any one that can help me? THANKS ALOT !!!!!!!

OKAY i just made the folders MUSIC and VIDEO in the root of the memorystick.... and it works. Now my Question is what els can you do with Moonshell?

does anyone know how to patch MSX roms? i think i got all the tools but it keeps saing no enough free space??? only 1 byte availibl eneed 8765bytes....... ?????

I wasn't sure about getting a NDS cuz I'm a PSP junkie ^_^. But now that I know it can be hacked so simply (quite costly though...) I'm gonna get one :D

Has anyone else noticed a sudden dry-up in the international supply of m3 / r4 ?
i notice the divineo sites don't even list them any more !
Have they been battered with a "cease and desist" notice ?
Meanwhile, in the UK, places like model gadget are dropping the new type r4 (no sd spring) to lower price than m3 !
What the hell's going on ????

Has anybody noticed a difference in game, sound or visual quality useing backup roms over the origional game cartridge?
Also useing the backup rom are multiplayer options, such as wi-fi still available without error?

No in fact all games run more smoothly with out any lags.

Hi guys I have a prob with the m3 simply just bought on amazon.co.uk
I formatted a 4 gb sandisk micro card to fat 32 and dumped the files from the m3 adapter website and then dragged and dropped a game rom with exentesion nds but the programme would not start. I then swapped the sandisk micro card and used a 1 GB PNY card instead, formatted installed the files for the m3 simply and switched it on...at least this time I got the m3 simply screen. After that I dragged and dropped 3 games: zelda, pokemon diamond japanese version and Bubble bobble...
When I switch on the nds I can access the games and even save an initial file but then after I launch any of these games the screens of the nds just go blank. I have an nds light black and I am using software version 1.2 (I think so not sure I got it from the m3 adapter website)
At this point I wonder if it is a problem of roms, a problem of Micro card (did not really like the sandisk one for sure) or the m3 simply card issue. I would not really like to buy an m3 simply card just to give it a try...

As far as I'm aware the only format that can be read is .txt files, I never use eBooks though.

The 4GB card is probably an SDHC card which is not supported by the Simply, you'll be hard pushed to find a standard 4GB card (though they do exist).
As for the 1GB card, try formatting it to just FAT (aka FAT16) not FAT32, also download the latest firmware which is 1.07 (link to a download site in my guide) and try again.

I recently got a M3 Simply and it works great, but I've noticed one thing that I don't like. I was playing a game and I closed the case to go into sleep mode. When I came back the system was off... Has anyone else had this problem? I was using the old fat DS and I'm going to test it in my lite as well.

i was wondering if u could help me get multi themes on my m3 simply
i already tried to make my own "themes" folder within the _system_ and then put themes into that themes folder but i cant get it to work
i named each theme folder like theme0s theme 02 etc...

I have a question regarding some roms. So far I have come across 2 roms that just won't load on my m3 ds simply. I bought this about a year ago. My brother also has an m3 ds that he purchased this summer. For the zelda game, his m3 ds is able to load the rom, but for mine, it would not. I have tried downloading different versions of the rom, US and European, it still won't work. This is the one game I want to play and i'm having some serious trouble tryin to get it to work. Anyone know the reason behind this? should i be updating some software on the m3 ds or something?

these recent games also do not work: cooking mama 2, bomberman land, and mario party ds
what's the problem i don't understand.

YEah same here...just tried two new games and they dont load on my m3 ds simply. All my old ones still load off the card. The two games are Contra 4 and FF12 Revenant Wings.

Anyone know why new games dont work? it says cant read the rom and wants me to reinsert the card. I did this and even reformatted but still got the same problem. The old games work fine on it. I'm using the newest firmware too.

Try the newest firmware (v1.08) with any problem games, should that not work try doing the ARM7 Fix.
