Guys
my Digivox went down 2 days ago - i have tried all the codes but it keeps doint the below:
The channel has blank screen and tries to search.
Then goes through the progress 10% 20% 30% etc and clicks back to say s*y sports for example.
Then blank screen again and repeats the whole process.
Can anyone help?
why arent the codes working this time?
I am living in South Wales and used to have it on N*L - have tried all recent codes

to all.
autoroll has been disabled,i would suggest to update ur digivox to vers 2.800 and be done looking for codes,if u want to keep on putting in codes 2 or three times a day fair play to you just go to starview codes for info, and dont forget

Does anyone know where i'd get an RS-232 cable to update my digivox, and is there only one type of this cable or do i need to know some specific info on the type i need. Its gettting too annoying having to update the codes on the box almost every day so i'd like to get it updated as soon as possible. Living in Dublin, any help would be appreciated!

You can get an null modem cable aka rs-232 cable in Maplins for around ?18. There are USB equivalents but you won't need that type unless you don't have a serial port on your pc / laptop.

I have version 4.000 of the firmware and I have had very few problems. The EPG on it is a little $hit but at least there is very little downtime for the update process.

Cheers for that Joey, i'll hopefully pick that up today cos its getting very annoying having to change the codes every day. Just one other quick question, which software is it that is still auto updating is it version 2.8?

I tried v 4.0 and found it a pain! It was very glitchy and froze several times on me. I find 2.8 more stable. Its each to their own I guess.
