Nero 7 won't burn audio but will do a DVD HELP Please

I have just got the new Nero 7 Premium and now I can't burn audio CDs starts then just freezes and locks up the drive but I can do DVD's I have a Pioneer 109 burner and the new firmware.

I can burn cds using windows media so its not the drive.

I took Nero off and put the old one back on and now that won't work I did a clean install.

Any ideas its doing my noodle in
