DVD playback from Harddisk ERROR

When I try to play back my ripped DVD files from my Harddisk, using IfoEdit or a software DVD player, I get this message:

"This player is incompatible with the region marking of this disk."

Did I do something wrong while ripping from the DVD to my computer?

try re-ripping it and removing the regional codes. The software you are using may be changing the regional codes. Some of the software defaults to region 1.
