the extra high postage and insurance cost is to avoid ebay fees, the actual cost of the memory is lower to reduce the final value fee. When you total it all up it comes to around the 'ebay market value' of a 1gig stick which is 50-60 GBP
always ppl trying to get out of paying extra fees, doesnt really help those who dont read the small print till its to late, but on the other hand there fault for not reading the full listing.
speaking of buying memory sticks off of ebay, what are the requirements for a stick to be in order to be compatible with the psp? are all sticks that are PRO DUO compatible?
because see the thing is ive noticed that some sellers seem to use the popularity of the psp as an advertisement for their sticks and theyll have 'WORKS ON PSP!!' in big flashing letters.this seems to intrigue people who, like me,are not sure whether or not a certain memory stick is compatible with the psp so immediately go bid on the ones that clearly state that it is so im thinking that if i bid on one that flies under the radar,i might be able to save a buck or two.
yeah, dont worry, the first thing i do when looking at an auction on ebay is add the price, postage cost and insurance together.thanks for the warning though.i know lots of people get conned (well, not really conned as its not usually the sellers intention to mislead but to save money on the listing price) that way so keep spreading the word!
