Hey, im thinking of buying a psp. but i do have a few things on my mind which hopefully some one can help me with.

The psp its self costs me about 200-250pounds.
But then i only have the psp. The memory costs me about 25 ( i gb on ebay)
and a game around 30-40 punds. so actually, im loosing around 300-350 pounds.

A) is this a correct estimate ? or am i missing something
B) is it really worth 300 pounds +
C) where can i buy it for any cheaper that 200 pounds ?

A PSP should be 179.99 GBP for a standard PSP value pack with nothing else.

As stated in other threads, the 1gb pro duo memory sticks are around the 50-60 mark on ebay inc postage and insurance (postage and insurance is only around 5-7 GBP). Insurance and postage are bumped up and the price of the stick lowered to reduce the seller's ebay fees.

Games are around 30-35 GBP
some places are having a clearout eg: http://www.mymemory.co.uk/Sony-PSP
some release titles on clearance at 17.99 GBP plus delivery so it comes to around 22 GBP.
Play.com, gameplay.com etc online shops flog games for the 30 GBP mark. Retail shops such as Game and Gamestation, Virgin etc sell them for 35 GBP.
[edit] once thing I forgot to say was that the discounted games at My Memory are US/Region 1. So if you want to play against your friends, they must have a US/Region 1 copy too.

As for buying the PSP cheaper, the RRP on it is 179.99 so I don't know where the 200 GBP figure came in unless it was a guess :)
