Could the PSP use a blurtooth adapter trough its mini USB port by itself or wolud some sort of program have to be written for this too work.

And there's your problem. the PSP is not built up to act as a USB Host. That means that even if you were able to find a Bluetooth USB Stick that could be used on a PSP. Seems highly unlikely to me!! It in all liklyhood wouldn't work as, the PSP needs a PC (or a PC like interface), in order to 'Talk' to whatever you wanted to.

Useing the IRDA could be a better bet, alas no one, not even $0NY seems to know what the IRDA on the PSP is good for. As unless I'm very much mistaken, all Gameshareing is done over the 802.11b via a ADHOC Connection, and not over the IRDA.

Ya might try you luck in downgradeing to PSP v1.50 (if you havent allready done so!). As far as I know there are some Homebrew Apps that make use of the IRDA. So that might be worth looking into.

the psp has infared but when i tried sending something to the psp it did nt work
