I have read alot on the net about people complaining about bittorrent is slow, blah, blah, blah. My theread isn't about that. What I am wondering (and I am a brand new bittorrent user, so take it easy on me) is why it is that with the file I am trying to download, my is my upload faster than my download? I mean, I barely got to 5% downloaded and download was going at 5k, but upload was at about 18k??? Is there no way to adjsut it so that the two stay at least equal?

Oh yes, I am using the original Bittorrent client as can be found at bittorrent.com. Any help will be handy guys, as in South Africa we have DSL bandwidth limits of 3GB, so I's really like to download more than I am at the moment before my monthly limit is reached.

Thanks DVDBack23, I actually found the experimental version of the original Bittorrent client, and that allows you to regulate the uplaod bandwidth, which is exactly what I need. Will take a look at the link you saent when I have some time. Probably even more useful there.
