i have done speed tests on my download/upload speeds i have windows2000 i have no firewall i don`t think i have a router how do i find it i use bitcomet and bitornado should i turn off my anti spyware and my anti virus norton my connection is ntlworld the £24.99 one i think its a 2mb connection my modem is terayon tj210

my sppeeds are as follows

download speed 1244kbps
upload speed 184

how do i make my downloads go faster
can anyone help please thanxs in advance
