I have 1mb Broadband from ntl. And no router, And Norton firewall 2005. I was wondering how to get my download speeds faster.

Im currently downloading black and white 2, with download speeds around 13KB/s

Is it posible to make them faster?

Upstream 95 Kbps

hi nexxus i use ntl 2mb no router and norton anti virus i use bitcomet and i did a speed test as well at the same site

downstream 1931kbps{241kb/sec}
upstream 190kbps {23.8kb/sec

i need help as well thanxs

check to see how many seeds and peers you got downloading the same thing. If there is only like 1 or 2 and their internet is slow then you will download slow too.

Remember to limit your upload limit to about 80%

Personally, I haven't had any good experiences wih BitComet, my max download was 3KB/s while I was hitting 60KB/s with BitLord. Also, the core of BitLord is powered by BitComet. And the upload limit still stands with all clients, limit your u/l speed to 80%

There is a new torrent with no upload. Downloads are very fast it is clled UseNext i think.
