Bypassing PSP Game Required Updates??

Hello, I heard of the trick to switch games to bypass but is there another way?? Wouldnt Fastloader bypass the updates?? I would try it but I dont own any games to try it on but I was curious if this method works or if not is there another way besides switching them?

There is a Homebrew called PSPSET v0.9 , psp-hacks.com. Download that and follow the instructions. What it does is it makes your psp think its running a different firmware. ( u need a PSP with 1.50 firmware to run this though)
