Hello all,

I'm new to these forums. I just want to say there seems to be alot of info here and glad to be a member.
My problem is with my Pioneer DVR 107D OEM version (A07). I am trying to upgrade the firmware but I keep getting a "Available target is not found" error. I've tried the A07 and 107D update utilities; both give me same error. I'm using Firmware update utility 2.29C that I downloaded from a couple of sites to include drivers.softpedia.com.

My firmware is currently at 1.18. I upgraded it a while back so it has been working for a year without problems. The reason i'm trying to upgrade it is because I started getting errors with NERO 6. I never did before. My DVD ROM also sometimes doesnt recognize a DVD when I insert it. MY COMPUTER becomes "not responding." I'm not sure if my ASPI drivers need updated or re-installed. Don't even know how to tell what version I have.
