Problem erasing psp dump off stick

I started a psp dump to my 512 stick. I have a few things saved on there so I was splitting at 100mb's. But I noticed that I messed up when I didnt put the file on my computer and delete the first part of the dump I accidently started part 2 of the dump which I didnt have room for. So I cancled the dump and restarted my psp to delete the old dump files. Now I cant delete the dump files. Does this mean I'm stuck with reformatting my mem card? If there is any other way please let me know. If not I guess I'll just save all the files on the pc and reformat. I just hate reformatting cause I always hit a wall when trying to get my psp back to it's original state. -TIA
