here is the DVD drive i have:

Model-------Type--------------Max Read Speed-------Max Write Speed
AOPEN DUW1608/ARR--DVD-RW-----8467 KB/s (48X)-------8467 KB/s (48X)

I used DVD Santa to convert the files to Video_TS and then used Nero 5 to burn to my DVD+R that I bought, its a memorex DVD(8x), when i put it in my DVD player it gives me en error, it says incorrect disk i dont know whats wrong :( when i put it into my DVD drive(I have a DVD COMBO DRIVE DVD R/RW and CDRW) it plays fine so I dont know what the problem is!!

Copy and paste the last session from your
program files/ahead/nero/nerohistory.log

The last session begins with:

Just for information, what kind and size of file were you burning?

http://download.aopen.com.tw/default.aspx

The latest firmware is A080 from above.

You might be best to try Nero 6, not sure if you can upgrade free from version 5.

The burner doesn't seem to recognize the disc manufacturer , but if it's a Memorex,as you indicated, perhaps a senior member would care to express an opinion as to their utility.

ok thanks a lot for the info, i went out and bought some Verbatim DVD-R's not DVD+R's and they worked great!!! I guess memorex is not for me! thanks afor ur help, i think ur right that my burner does not like the memorex, im happy using verbatim, thanks for ur help
