so I bought some dvd-r 4.7gb's to try. When using nero, If I burn a VIDEO_TS folder the movie works but if I try to burn an ISO image, Coasters. Y? I'm using a lite-on show 1633 sx and have had no problems up until now. dvd decrypter produces iso coasters as well. And I suppose I cant booktype them to dvd+r huh?

What is the manufacturer and ID of your media? How fast are you burning? You can not change booktype on DVD-R media but you can booktype DVD+R media to dvd-rom with your litey.

is your Nero up to date as well? what version do you have?
mort is right, you cannot booktype the dash format to dvd-rom, only the + to dvd-rom
and i have the same litey as you, and i use decrypter and shink together with Nero and have not had a single problem yet, well, if you count when i was a noob in the beginning and used junk media, not gonna say what brand, but it rhymes with 'memosux', then i had problems.
also, you can tweak decrypter too as well as shrink...
try this....

I'm using TDK print on's. I can't check the id right now but when I did, they came up TDK (ttg02). My Nero is V6.3.1.17 and am burning at 4x. I usually burn with decrypter but decided to try nero and IMGBurn.
