well with symantec identifying the first trojan on a handheld device (psp), apparently incorporated into some version 1.5 downgraders , how many have bricked their consoles due to this?

yup its supposed to delete 4 psp boot files so stopping it starting.

I recently downgraded it from 2.0 to 1.5 seems to be working ok, but when I scanned my pc with Norton anti virus, the downgrader programme showed 4 alerts and 1 trojan.

On symantecs website its called psp.brick supposed to delete as I said 4 essential files for booting.

Its news to me so I was wondering if any1 else has come across this.

and actually 2.0 has a browser which is the initial state that it got downgraded from.

If you guys missed it:

Because of something with an earlier downgrader or fake copy of one Norton Antivirus will come up with a Trojan warning on anything that has one of the downgrader files. All they did was add the name of that file to their Trojan database.

Norton Antivirus sucks... bloated piece of $hit. I run KAV which is the best scanning and most/best updated AV on the market.

KAV doesn't stupidly go off on the legit downgrader because of a freaking file name.
