hi, is there any program to let u get the web browser like the one in v2.0, is there a version changer that will actually let ur psp do the stuff u want in v2.0 and then change back.
i no there i a WAB changer that fools ur psp.
or could someone not add a code into v1.50 to automatically add a web browser like in v2.0.

The WAB Version changer is for Games that require you to run a higher Firmware then what you may currently have on your PSP. The WAB (or other), Version changer(s), will trip up your PSP into 'thinking' it's the requested version. eventhough it's not.

So no you could downgade a PSP v2.0 to a PSP v1.50 easily enough. but doing so will cause you to loose the built-on Web Browser and H.246 AVC codec that's only in PSP v2.0!

There are some Web Browser out for the PSP v1.50 like the japanese Tenchi Bowser or the English Wipeout Pure Browser that you could use. PSP v1.50 also has a Bowser that will allow you to stream Shoutcast Radio Streams off the 'Net. Something that $0NY still has yet to add to there Firmware(s).

Then again where's the profit in that, when $0NY could try to flog you a $350.00(USD) LocalFree Base Station to send you Audio & Video Streams to your PSP though a 802.11a,b,g or n connection?!?!

yeah but why has someone not tried to put a built in web browser or even an english one into the psp?
this would be the ultimate homebrew but yet no one has done it.

I think it's more about what people want. You would consider this the ultimate homebrew but many people (including me) have used the 2.0+ browser it's just not worth having. Yeah, it's cool for a few minutes. But then once you actually wanna go somewhere with it and do something worth while it's just pointless.. But then again I see where your comming from. If people would spend less time on the Windows applet's that are usless and slow for your psp then they could make something worth while. :) I guess I just said a bunch of nothing and agree'd with you so good day I SAID GOOD DAY SIR
