hey there just tried to backup batman begins ps2 game and it gets as far as the first loading screen and doesnt get any further does anyone know if this game needs rebuiding or any patch ive looked on swapmagic fix but there nothing on there

Yeah how big is the game? Make sure you burn with DVD Decrypter on 1x or 2x. If that fails move up to 4x. Use a good DVD-R, anything other than Memorex or Imitation. Doubt it needs rebuilt, there's only 9 DVD-9 or dual layer games for the PS2 that need rebuilt at present. Here's a tutorial for DVD Decrypter: http://home.earthlink.net/~moderator/id3.html

Were you able to get the game running ok? I used Decrypter to read and burned (at 4x with Sony DVD-R) using ImgBurn and Nero.

Both copies don't work, and I get the same problem as you described.

Please help.

I backed this game up with a straight 1:1 copy..no probs. used DVD Decrypter in iso read.. then used Nero burns image program at 4x on 8x ritek DVD-R disc.
