Frostwire is almost exactly like limewire. Programmers have taken the open-source code of Limewire and used it to create an excellent new program that does not ask for liscensess on the music like Limewire does now.

i've been having so much trouble with limewire, just found out this week that it's because of the licencing thing that's been going on so i got rid and installed frostwire instead! only, having the same problem - searching for anything with very little or no results.
so i need some help please, i have a mcafee firewall + virus scan installed and conected at 2.3mb broadband, but anything i did try to download was only at a measly 5kbs (imagine my dismay).
now, i was thinking of trying bit torrent and leaving my beloved limewire behind, but if it's a firewall issue then i'd rather fix that n stick with frostwire now. realise this is off topic a bit but thought someone might be able to lend a hand or point to a good explanation- i'm not completely incompetant when it comes to computers but this whole firewall malarky is getting me confused :) cheers!
