Acer n10 gprs over IrDA problem

i use acer n10 WM2003, and i use N3650 as a GPRS modem over IrDA, but when i enter the password for GPRS, the password changed by itself, the pass is IM3, it will shown as ***, but after i check again the pass, it changed to ************* , i have tried to do an hard reset, but it not fix the problem. please help meeeeeeeeeee.................
is i need to upgrade to WM2003SE ???
