I have been trying a copy DVDRemake Pro, but it's not working properly, and I don't want to risk buying a copy and having the same things happen (DVDs don't auto-play when inserted, I have to manually start them, please insert disc 2 screen and merging dvd title menus don't work).

Is there anything else out there I can do this stuff with?

I am more than willing to buy a program, but I want to be able to actually try it first, and see the results on my dvd player, since clearly what is on the PC does not carry over directly to the stand alone player.

I have used DVDRemake Pro for months now.... I love it..... it does everything it says it does and more! If you are using it and NOT getting results, maybe it's because you made a mistake in the DVD structure. The program is invaluable and works all the time when done right. I suggest you learn a little more on how to use it and follow some of the guides out there: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/201805

DVDRemake Pro is a powerful program that will take out everything that you don't want in a back up.... from editing menues, to taking out warning screens and merging 2 DVDs.... but you have to learn the ins and outs of DVD structure. It's not too complicated and there are more guides out there if you look for them.

you can even use DVDShrink to merge two disks! Here is the guide: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_dvd_to_dvdr_dvd_...

there are many ways to do it, but I like DVDRemake cause it's more versitile!

I have been given step by step instructions from dimadsoft and another user on the remake forum, and it still is not working properly.

I have pro version 3, but i dont think there is a pro v3.1.4 trial out there that I can try...

I don't know why mince isn't working right... the copy was given to me so maybe its the whole "it will only work on your PC" thing, but I dont want to risk like $70CDN to find out.

:P
