Hi all:

How do I transfer the files from my UMD disc to my PC when my UMD is in the PSP? Right now I am equipped as follows:

PSP
v 1.5
32MB memory card

I am planning on getting a bigger card soon (4GB hdd from datel), but until it is released I would like to backup my games on to my computer/

Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

First you get fastloader for the psp install that run it then hit rip umd insterted in psp. Then it will go to a screen saying it is erasing your firmware or something and get all squigly then it will say just kidding loading. After that you need to set the options to cut after 30mb's or 20mb's whatever the closest option is to fit on your card (Because you cant rip it straight to the pc you have to rip it to the mem card so it will be tough for you.) Anyways, after each 30mb rip or whatever you choose it will pause and give you a chance to put the file on the pc and delete it from the memcard. Then it will rip another 30mb's pause and let you put it on pc and delete off mem card.. And so on and so on it will take a pretty long time just for all the pausing and deleting.. Make sure you put the file on the pc and delete it off the mem card before you start ripping again as if you dont it will just put a dummy file on your psp and may stick the file that you didnt delete on there on your psp untill your format your mem card.. Which wont be a big deal cause you have a small card but with a 1gig or even a 512 if you got roms and emu's and programs you just dont wanna format the mem card all the time and set it up how you like it..
