PSP ver 1.52 HELP????????

Can I play iso games on my memory stick if I have a new PSP with version 1.52??? I have tried using fastloader v0.8 and I keep getting a corrupt file and the smiley face. When I click on the smiley face i get an error that says " The game could not be started (80020148)??? What can I do to run the games I downloaded???
