More often than not, about 2 weeks after I burn an audio CD (burning with Nero from mp3 to an audio CD) I notice a ticking sound during quiet parts of songs. I only hear this on my car stereo, and not my computer when I play the CD. I don't have a normal home stereo, so I can't test it on that. Some CDs tick worse than others, and it's pretty fast - about 4 ticks per second. On the worst CDs, the player even seems to have problems cutting in and out. I don't get what's happening! These are newly burnt CDs. Any ideas? Should I be using audio vs. data CDRs? Is there a certain max speed for audio burning?
