I have just bought a Jap PSP from ebay and was wondering if anyone has registered it on www.yourpsp.co.uk for the free spiderman DVD. Will it make any difference if it is a Japenese import on a European site. Any help, Thanks
What version is your JAP PSP? I hope for your sake it's a V1.0 otherwise you got Powned! As almost anyone in the know already has a v1.50, besides the fact that v1.50 is only a slightly larger PITA then say v1.0, there really is no major difference between these Two versions.
Now as for Siderman 2, I don't know if you can manage to swipe a copy or not, If your going to try to be Honest with $0NY then the Answer is clearly NO! However some People have reported to have just used whichever Euro Model Number (i.e. 1003, 1004(k)), and the S/N (behind the Batterie Pack), to get a Siderman2 UMD.
I had to send my fist PSP back to the Store (had it by Mail-Order),. It had no less then Five Dead / Stuck Pixels, and One duff 32Mb Memorystick. However I did register that One with $0NY and recived my Siderman2 UMD about a Week and a Half ago.
My seconf replacement PSP came at the end of September, and I registerd that One also on $0NY's Website, on the Day it came. That PSP'S version of Spiderman2 just arrived here Today 19.10.2005.
I plan on leaving it sealed and possibly tossing in World Tour Soccer with it in a eBay listing. But, I guess I'll need to look into it deeper on the Weekend. I'm thinking in the Neigborhood of ca. ?45.00(EUR), for the lot.
As for the question could you even run it? The answer is.... Yes!
Only because the UMD Movie Codes are already based on the Ones set with DVD. e.g. Europe, South Africa & Japan are all Region Code 2.
As for the Games... As I understand it they unlike the Movies should be Region Code free. however the Region Code "2" on the back of my Ridge Racer \ World Tour Soccer. Would seem to indicate otherwise!!!

It's a version 1.5 but I only paid £125 for it which was a steal as the are £170 in any shop or online store if you can get a hold of one that is. It didn't come with anything else though (like a 32mb ms , cloth, strap, or case).
I went and bought a high speed 1GB card of ebay too for £48 anyways.
I wasn't really after the movie though, it was just to see if the gave away any other goodies as they describe it as "a welcome pack"
