Hi,
Yeah, I tried what you suggested using the psp-9 to convert dvd to mpeg-4 but it seems that my video plays ahead than the sound. Picture comes before sound. Can you help. Thanks.

I've got the same problem, however it only happens with some of my videos, primarily DivX. Quicktime (.mov) files seem to work fine. Do anyone know of another, more suitable program for converting to the iPod video format?

You can use Videora iPod converter to convert DVDs and existing movie files to you iPod.
I have not received my iPod yet, but I think the bitrate is set too high as default. I would
adjust it down to 640kbps instead of 768kbps. I don't know if this has any effect on whether
or not the video will be playable on the iPod.
Also, if you're converting widescreen sources, set the resolution to 320x176 or else the
picture gets stretched. I would also suggest to use the SP option (rumored to work better
with the iPod, doesn't desync video and audio).
EDIT:
forgot the link

TahoePro, you cannot legally get quicktime pro for free, it costs $30 from apple.com. Getting pro for free would be considered piracy and piracy isnt allowed here.

i would suggest using the origional quicktime method. check the guide in my sig for more details.
By the way, to get that picture up in your sig, you need to do this
[ img ] link to picture goes here [/ img ]
note, you have to do this without the gaps in.
and also, the picture you want needts to be downsized, as it is a little too big.
