How to downgrade firmware 1.51 -- 1.5?

Hi all! I'm new here. Thought the gizmos savvy bunch here might be able to help me here!

I desperately want to try the awesome homebrew games and application I just downloaded. I realized that I need firmware v1.5 but mine is a v1.51.

I read from http://www.hackaday.com/entry/1234000687060851/ that I need to upgrade to v2.0 before I can do a downgrade to v1.5. The thing is only the latest v2.5 is available for download now.

All help will be much appreciated!

How? Does that mean I can get my 1.51 to 1.50 without upgrading to a 2.00? Do I do the downgrade method to get to 1.50 (are you sure it wont brick my psp)?? Thanks
