well i recently downloaded the version 2.5 on my psp and my god it sucks.. i cant down grade back to my 1.5 and i cant use homebrews emulators or what ever if there is any one who can help me out reply thanks guys
Do you realy beleave it's that simple?!? And if so why is it that MPH, WAB's / SXT's Yhoshi-whos'-it's (or anyone else for what it's worth!), haven't already re-written the Downgrader Code??
Beacuse the Overflow Bug only works with .tif Images, which was only viewable on the PSP2.0 (thuss the need to ->update<- from PSP v1.5x tp v2.0 in the first place!
$0NY patched that Hole with there PSP v2.01 Firmware. It added NOTHING ELSE! Latter $0NY decided to give us access to there nearly $400.00(USD), 'LocationFREE' TV / TiVo Streaming Basestaion which with much work could allow One to view Ones Local TV over the Interweb all-over-the-World! via a 802.11a,b,g ot n Hotspot! Again that's about it, unless you take into account the 'Index.dat' trap It seems that $0NY have changed there encodeing method(s) again. If you were wont to try a Downgrader and for somereasion, you were actually able to get it working! HIGHLY UNLIKELY! You'd just become a proud owner of a rather nice shiny new Brick!!
The only possible method(s) of Hexpl01t10n left to the PSP (as of v2.5), are possibly the Web Browser, The LocationFREE (Seems promising as it's so new!) or as always that most favorite of all theories. A variation of the XBOX-GSH (Game Save Hack), for the PSP...
As for the .tif Hexpl01te IT'S GONE! unless you have a PSPv1.5x or a v2.0. You don't even need wast your time over this! Besides the fact that a .png is totlay different Code to a .tif File, which is also something that seems to have missed you! So no a .png File WILL NOT PASS MUSTER, PAL!
Not that I'd condone such actions because I don't think it's fair that someone else should have to pay for your stupidity! But, the only 'Swap-Method' open to you at this point will require you to have approximately an extra $250.00(USD), on your Person.....
I don't know I just know enough Photoshop to know that a .tiff File is not a JPEG File. That's like saying I should be able to play a .WMA File on my iPod or an iTMS (.M4p File), on a Creatve Zen because there both Audio Files. Or that I could / should use WinZIP to unpack a .rar File because there both Achive Files.
Sadly the .tiff Exploit was fixed and sice v2.0 barried aswell...
