Ifoedit crashes my computer everytime...

Hi,

Everytime I use Ifoedit, and click create new ifo's, it gets about 2/3 of the way through the first .vob, then crashes. My computer turns off, and wont turn on again for 2 minutes. Tried Ifoedit 0.95, 0.94 - same problem.

Have Win XP Pro
AMD 1Ghz
30Gb HD
327 Mb RAM

Any suggestions?

I don't know much about the ripping process yet but I'll betcha you've got a thermal problem with your cpu. Do you have a hardware monitor so you can see your cpu temp when you are using this program? When I render video, my cpu temp goes up about 7*C. Alot of these programs a task intensive which increases cpu temp. You may have a bad or dirty heatsink that has developed over time. The only reason I say this is because I have never heard of a program that shuts down a computer for 2 minutes but it is the characteristic of a thermal breach.
