I just bought a 512mb pro duo ms for my psp and i wanted to put a movie on it. I have 2 movies on my pc. 1 is 697mb and the other is 700. When i use 3gp or video9 to convert it to psp format the file is bigger than it was. It ends up being over 1gb. Is there any way to compress the movies to make it fit or am i just doing something wrong?

Ok never mind my bad i figured it out. But now i got another problem. I used to put atrac3 music on my 32mb sony ms i got with my psp and it worked fine but now that I bought this new sandisk 512mb stick it doesnt seem to read the atrac3 songs on the psp. Im doing it exactly the same so im wondering if its not working because its not a sony ms so it doesnt support atrac3. Does anyone know if thats the problem?

I don't know about your atrac3 songs, I would convert them to MP3 if I were you. The movies you can use xcopy9 from www.psptransfer.com it'll compress the movies properly.

I wanted them in atrac format because its like 1 third of the size. If anyone else has any idea i'd appreciate it.

theres a convertor that takes mp3s and makes them mp3 pro which compresess them and make them more crisp

Does mp3pro make the files smaller because i never heard of it? I would still rather put it in atrac3 because i wanted to know if my ms is not reading it because its made by sandisk instead of sony.
