Afternoon. My drive was working perfectly till last nite.

I was burning a disc last nite, it stopped responding, I rebooted the pc as Nero refused to shutdown and wouldn't give me the disc back. Now after rebooting the drive does not work.

The pc sees the drive but recognises no disc (audio, cdrw,cdr,dvd,dvdrw) when inserted. (when the drive is clicked on, it takes a few seconds and then shows up nothing.)

Can anyone tell me what has happened.

Running on xp, sp2. Tell me if you need any other stats (must say the drive has worked perfectly until last nite)

I have found the lastest FW for it, applied it an to no avail. The drive now reads dvd roms but no cd's. This is drving me up the wall.
