Ok, so I use Bitlord AND eXeem.

They both give you the option to select a listening port. When i tried to have eXeem put on port 6881, i couldn't port forward it for some reason. I had no problems doing this with Bitlord(on 65535) and Bittornado(1001-1004).

When i try to add in 6881, i just get a message telling me "One or more of the requested ports is already allocated for system use." I know i don't already have this port forwarded.

Any help is appreciated.

Something is thinking that the port has been forwarded within your router settings. My advice to you is not to use the default ports as you have been. WHY? Sometimes ISPs will block certain ports for whatever reason. Secondly, you've got so many other options available to use...why not? Any port can be designated for what you are trying to do (download/upload files).

As tEChniiQue stated, most clients, trackers and ISPs now block ports 6881-6889 so just pick a random one, but make it over 10000.

Good luck!
