I have tried everything i read. i did the speed test. the tweak fix and opened ports etc. and i still cannot get over 25kbps on any thing 30 if i dont bother the internet. Could somebody please help me. I see all these other people getting atleast 100 and up. my speed test is 1219down and 207 upload thats 152.4down and 25.9 up right. What else can i do to make it go faster please i already set the firewall. and moved the MTU and the tcp received. Please Help

I use mcafee and opened up the ports 6881-6889

Do NOT open ports 6881, etc as they are banned by clients and isps as well as trackers. Try opening up a random port like 55500.

yep thats the guide i was following earlier. I registered with bitsoup, but what am i supposed to do then. Do they have a tracker list or something i am supposed to find and put in Bit comet. thanks for you help this has been driving me crazy

No, they have a their own tracker so you must download from the bitsoup.org website only.

Well DVDback23 i did everything in your guide and i did the bitsoup thing everything started good and just went down hill when it started at 5Kb and kept rising up to 40kb then 50 then down hill and i know you said it take 30 min or more so i left to eat came back and it was still sitting at 5kb so i change random port and it did nothing uploaded more and still stayed the same. Does the ports i have open have to be the same as the listen port or something. Please help its been 5 days now for 1.83gb. thanks

Yes the listening ports and the forwarded ports must be the same. Perhaps you made a mistake with your uploading? Did you do the math as said in my guide? (Divide max uplaod speed from speed test by 10) Also how many seeds and peers are there?

Yep i did the dividing my d/l is 1222 and my up/L is 207 so 20.7 then i put the global d/l on no limit and the up/l to 20. There were 29 seed and 2 leech and 50 some peers. I searched the bit soup and none of those torrents have close to 100 seeds and things. and i went back to iso hunt to try and find those trackers you were talking about but i didnt see them.

Here try this torrent, it has a lot of seeds and not too many peers and report back your speeds.

YES!!!!!!!!!!! and no........
because i started 1 d/l and it jumped all the way to 154kb. then is started another on after i stopped the 150 one and this one wont go pat 20 along with the rest of them. but the torrent that does 150 is still going strong though so i guess the other ones are just busy.

DO NOT ever download more than 1 torrent at a time!!!

As you can see, alot of seeds is very important but again...DO NOT downlaod more than 1 torrent at a time!!! ;)
