This problem can't possibly be from the torrent

the last 10 or so torrent files that i've tried to download didn't work. It's always unable to connect to peers, even if there's like 200 seeders and 100 leechers.
I know this can't be a problem with ALL of the downloads, because that's just very unlikely that every single file i try to download doesn't want to work.

Have you checked your firewall(s)?

Yes, i have Bitlord allowed Bitlord and port 65545.
Also note that this only happens with any new downloads that i start...i tried resuming an old one and it worked.

What site are you using? I have never had that problem, perhaps the site you are using is having problems connecting to the trackers for each torrent.
Good luck!

I've used several sites, and all of them seem to be having problems with the tracker.
Here's a few i used: Torrentreactor.com,Newnova.org,thepiratesbay.com,isohunt.com,livetorrents.com

Ok, now i'm confused.
I tried downloading on of the same files that wouldn't download using Bitcomet and it worked.
Currently it's extremely slow (3kb/s) but it IS downloading.

Well, there could only be a couple of solutions. Its either your ISP has capped your bandwith to dial up speed or there is a problem with your firewall, which you already told me there isnt and you seem knowledgeable on the subject. Is the torrent highly seeded?

I have been having the exact same problem for about a week now. VERY strange. I can download anything except .torrent files, and the torrent files that are already loaded into my client program won't connect at all. I don't know what to do. If it were simply an issue of connecting through TorrentStorm (my client prog) then I would think that my administrator blocked that port. But I can't even download the .torrent files! Help, please!
