How do I beat Sony's DRM to make mp3's

I got the latest record from The Bad Plus and it has that copy protection. If I disable autorun then the CD/DVD drive sees no disc. And ripping mp3's after the software is installed results in choppy songs. I just want to add this record to my home audio jukebox. I could always just capture the audio in real-time, but that is a last resort. Help appreciated...

Also, if you want to disable the DRM's on downloaded songs, one easy way is to save as an audio file on a CD (not as a data CD) and then copy back to your computer from the new CD. DRM gone.

That only works when the files are on your computer and not corrupted. The Sony CD don't contain DRM tracks. Their DRM is at the physical level. The CD-ROM drive can't read the files correctly because the info on the tracks is wrong. Also sony installs a system driver that makes playing the CD tracks a horible experience. Plus, Sony installs that system driver if you select to play the cd or not. The only way around this issue is to disable the malicious driver. After that the CD can be used normaly.

It depends on what format is used for ripping. You could use a lossless codec if you want.
