Hi guys well just as the title suggests I am lost too....I am wanting to put Lost season 1 onto dvd and wanted to know if anyone else had done this yet and what programs were used and how many eps they managed to get onto the dvd....Plus were you able to have menu links for each episode..

yes. i was able to make an exact duplicate of the orginal dvds. full menus, extras, captions...etc...etc
i used DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink. i didnt reauthor and just backed up the entire disc. it had no problems fitting on a standard blank dvd-r

Sorry i didnt make myself clear I have dl the files and they are in XviD format and still need to be converted to dvd files........

Get Nero Vision Express and choose to make a DVD pull the AVI files in once it tells you the disc is full continue to making the Menu & Chapters etc.

yeah i tried that except only thing is i only manage to get 2 episodes to a dvd and am obviously looking to be able to put more than that......unless i convert a few episodes to dvd files then try to use DVD Shrink on them??

may give it a try

If you put more on that it can hold you can still do it. Nero will give you a warning saying that it is over size and ask if you want it to compress the files down to fit. Click yes and it will then recode all the files to fit on your DVD5 disc.

So try to import 4 or 5 of them in and like I said it will say it will recode the files to fit on the disc.
