After trying out nearly all methods of converting Divx/avi to DVD from the website, I found VSO 2 most favorable. I was really impressed by its conversion speed and ease of use.

But friendly program interface and ease of use is not that important to me when I have to sacrifice video image quality on the created DVD. I woudl like to ask advanced DVD creators on this forum to recommend to BEST method of converting AVI to DVD. I would prefer the guide with not too many steps and the DVD video quality to be as close as possible to the original AVI file.

Thank you.

PS. Search for similar thread did not return any results. In case I did not search well enough, links to threads with same topics would be great. TY

Hi there,

I am a big fan of VSO software, as you can see in my signature :)

There are good freeware stuff, so I hear.

WINAVI, FilmMachine are 2 that I have heard off.

I have decided to purchase DivXtoDVD, for the same reasons you said.
Easy to use, works well, I'm happy with the quality.

Some might not like it, but VSO is in full development of DivXtoDVD v2.0

There's new features/fix almost daily.

Give it time, it's will be more awsome, cause I thinks it's awsome now :)

VSO is indeed good piece of software. Especially Divx2DVD2. Seems to me that it outperforms most others.

I just hope im not loosing too much video quality for the speed of conversion.

thanx
