Why are my DVD-R's not playing on my brothers Panasonic DVD player but the DVD-R's he plays from his neighbor are? We are using the same method (Decrypter / Shrink / Nero) We are both using Memorex DVD's.
My DVD-R's work fine on my Sony DVD player but they are hit and miss on my Toshiba Lap Top.
Is there part of the equation I am missing?

memorex isn't the greatest media. try using the taiyo yuden 4x dvd-r's. those play in just about any player.
