I read that your suppose to create 3 folders called psp game and update when going from firmware 1.51 to 2.00 My question is is that whenever I connect my psp to my computer I already receive 3 folders called game save,psp, etc....DO I CREATE THE GAME AND UPDATE FOLDERS IN THE CURRENT PSP FOLDER AND DUMP THE EBOOT.PBP INTO IT? Please answer my question. thnx

You need to open the x:PSP\GAME Folder. Once open you need to create a new Folder called UPDATE. You'll then wnat to place the v2.0 Firmware (i.e. Eboot.pbp), in there. Then you can update your PSP from the Gaam Menu Update.

Once you have v2.0 installed. (You may as well leave it alone as GTA:LCS will reqiure you to have this installed. As it uses the newer parts in the v2.0 Firmware THAT DO NOT EXISIT ON EARLIER VEARSIONS! Upshot being GTA:LCS will not work with v1.50. Firmware Changes & UMD Emulators need not apply. =(

If your still hot for v1.50. Then you'll need to download a copy of the MPH Downgrader. You'll have to place both the 'index.dat' and 'h.bin' File in the Root Directoy (That'll be the fist Directory you'll find after connecting your PSP via a USB connection),. The 'overflow.tif' (which some overzealous AV Programs would call a Virus), would land up in your x:\PSP\PHOTO Directory.

Now you'll have to create another UPDATE Folder in your x:\PSP\GAME Folder. This time useing the v1.50 Eboot.pbp File. Now your ready to downgrade.

Goto the Photo Menu if you don't have any Pictures loaded into your PSP it should instantly crash with some lines of Text on the Screen. Time to reboot the PSP. Now you should be able to run the Downgrader. by going to the Game Menu and running the v1.50 Update.

The Update should (and will), crash at the 99% Mark. Time to reboot agian. Oh-no a BSOD! Press the 'O' Button to shut the PSP Down. Reboot the PSP once more...
