It seems these backups will not play on any dvd player stand alone units but it will play in my dvd preview window sounds and all. when i put the backup in the dvd player it just sits there and tries to load it until it says disc error.someone please give me some advice on how to solve this oh by the way the movie is unleashed and widespread panic:live in texas.

Were your successful burns previously bookmarked to "DVD-ROM", and the new ones aren't?

try this uninstall DVD43 and install AnyDVD change the setting in Decrypter to be able to use AnyDVD in Decrypter burn at 4x using a good media.do not use (((memorex}}}..

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated by Olli ->

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"

Did you ever UNinstall that DVD43 - that could be the culprit - many members have had problems with the newest DVD43 upgrade! (3.62 - doesnt seem to be working very well) I myself had to uninstall it - but the version i was using before that worked great! Too bad I cannot find where I kept it.

That doesnt surprise me at all - and sometimes you JUST GET A BAD BATCH - of course memorex would not be my 1st or 2nd or 100th choice - but if they work for ya that great. But even with Sonys verbatim, etc - sometimes you just get a bad batch.

try Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim or stuff that codes out as Taiyo Yuden which would be Fuji Film or Sony DVD+R media 8X that are made in japan and try burning them at 4x ,as said memorex IS NOT great media lol

Thanks I do use Verbatim from time to time - have not gotten to the TY's yet but I do use Fuji & Sony which I belive (not sure) are made by TY - I only buy the ones "made in Japan".

The Verbatims feel so thin sometimes I just wonder so I figured I would ask whilst on the subject ... thanks for the reply.

FREE SHIPPINF TOO!!! looking for my credit card - USUALLY i have always been weary about online purchasing - but you are not the first member to mention this store - I did try to call it the other day but did not get an answer - I am going to go ahead and see if I can make a purchase through that site - if they do good by me - then I will forever be a patron. And SAVING MONEY IS ALWAYS A PLUS - I am an avid movie collector and between friends and family wanting to come over and watch movies - I get a little stingy w/ my originals - *L* Thankyou for providing me a link also ..... going to check it out!
