nothing is happening with bittorrent?

hi ive just started using bittorrent, i found some sites and found some stuff i want to download, but nothing is happening!? they all just stay at 0.0% done. does any one know why my downloads arnt starting? please help!

Maybe your firewall is blocking it or it just such an old link that there aren't any users sharing that file anymore.
