I have just got some ISO's from Thailand which require v1.5, so I upgraded my JAP v1.0 so that I could play them. I used an internet link to get the 1.5 upgrade rather than on a UMD, which seemed to upgrade fine. I have fastloader v0.7 setup the same as a friend who has it on he's v1.5 (downgrade from v2.0) and it works on he's one, but when I click on the smiley, it starts booting and then goes back to the psp game menu, where as it should go to a fastloader picture.
Has anyone else had this problem? I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to 2.0 and the downgrading, but don't really want to.
I have also DEV Hook installed which only plays Ape Academy Iso, so at the moment i can only play that, where i really want to play my WE9.
hmmm.. pretty strange. i downgraded too and use fastloader 0.7 no problem and i cant be sure that this is your problem. upgraded jap with the jap upgrade files? cos this might be a problem, i dunno.
maybe u should try umdemulator? it works the same as fastloader, i use both cos some newer games cant work with fastloader or so they say.
I haven't downgraded, I only upgraded to 1.5. It was from a european site, but have read that it shouldn't make a difference to upgrade to 1.5. I tried to re-upgrade to 1.5 with a jap one, but it says that there is no need to upgrade as already at 1.5. Thats why i'm thinking about shooting up to 2.0 & back down to 1.5 (especially as I've read about gta needing vsn 2 codecs!)
Yeah I tried umd emulator, that didn't work either, just seems like its working and then back to the menu, without seeing logos.
