I currently use both Nero and CloneDVD2 but do not understand what it means to "burn on the fly". It seems like the wrong thing to do and I want to make sure that I'm not doing it.

This question has been asked many times before in different forums. However, I still don't recommend "burning on the fly." Burn/burning on the fly is like you're burning the movie/dvd directly from a dvd-rom drive or dvd burner to another dvd burner. That is kind of risky and more likely to produce "coasters," especially if you don't have a top notch media. I highly recommend ripping all the movie files into your hard drive first, then burn it from there to your destination (dvd burner). I've done very few times (may be 3 or 4 times only) before with high quality media such as Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim at 4X speed with successfully burned.

Again, I still don't recommend burning on the fly though.

WARNING: Do not "update/upgrade" your SAMSUNG BD-D5XXX series (Bluray Player), or else you cant enjoy any of your movie files.
