So I just downloaded some episodes of a tv show I like, and I'm trying to get them all onto one DVD, but am having problems. So I used WinAvi to convert the avi files into vob fileS, but they all keep falling under the same name: VTS_01_1. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I don't want to have to use a hundred CDs instead!

thanks in advance

bepiozo,

Always use brand dvd media like verbratim, taiyo yuden, maxell and forget about memorex.

If you insist of buying memorex, please donate your money to me...

Just joking....

When choosing dvd media always look for made in japan and if possible try to avoid taiwan made media.

Sorry, I'm really new to this, but how do you recode them all on WinAVI? Can you give step-by-step directions?

cassull- ok so first you open winAVI and then you press that big DVD button on the bottom right...to have winAVI convert all of them, you have to highlight all the files you want by clicking on the left side of the mouse and dragging it so that all of your files are highlighted

Hi I am doing real well with WINAVI I think it is one of the best programs I have run across in a while. The only problem I am having is when you download a movie, which I usually get a dvd-rip with good quality, but anyways it mostly comes in part 1 and part 2 well I know how to convert both avi's so it's all one, but when I do it for some reason the second part is in order first and I need part 1 obviously to play first and I wanted to know if there was anyway to burn in a specific order? Or whatever help I need just please let me know thank you

yeah that happened to me a lot too. I figured it out eventually though. So when you highlight both items to be converted and press enter, you have to use the arrows pointing up and down on the side of the box the items are displayed in. I'm not sure if i'm answering your question, but I hope this helps
